CampsFire ("we") operates campsfire.com and the CampsFire mobile app (package in.campfire.app). This policy describes what we collect, why, and your choices.
Data we collect
- Account: email, name, phone (if used for verification), profile photo, authentication identifiers
- Content: photos, videos, voice notes, messages, captions, and metadata you upload to Fires, Circles, Reels, Stories, and DMs
- Social graph: follows, blocks, Circle and Fire membership
- Device & app: app version, crash/diagnostic logs, notification tokens when push is enabled
- Usage: product analytics such as views, likes, and Fire participation (not OTPs, passwords, or message contents in logs)
How we use data
To operate the service, authenticate users, deliver media, moderate public content, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and comply with law.
Sharing
We use infrastructure providers (e.g. cloud hosting, email, media processing). Private Fire content is not used for public discovery. We do not sell personal data.
Retention & deletion
You may delete your account in Settings or at delete-account.html. We remove associated data per our retention policy; some records may be kept where required for security or legal compliance.
